Built by a teacher who learned to build.

I came to development from the classroom. Teaching taught me to explain hard things simply, to notice when an interface is fighting the person using it, and to build tools that respect attention instead of hijacking it. That perspective runs through everything I ship.

I work across the whole stack: custom Shopify storefronts, full-stack web apps on Cloudflare, interactive and creative canvas work, learning tools, faithful design-to-code reproduction, and the infrastructure underneath. I would rather build something well-bounded and own its details than wire together a stack of plugins nobody understands.

A through-line in my work is software the owner actually controls - editable from the admin, your data on your terms, no lock-in. It is a good fit for the people usually priced out of custom software: small tutors and studios, homeschoolers, adult-ed programs, and independent shops.

I work solo and scope-first. We agree on exactly what is being built before any code is written, you see progress as it develops, and you get a clean handoff with everything documented and editable. No surprises, no ambiguity about deliverables.
